Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, Ontario
Date Visited: November 2022
Time Spent: 5 hours
Highlights:
Evelyn learned that 2 out of 3 people can roll their tongues, but only 1 or 2 people out of 1000 can fold their tongues - like her!
We spent a lot of time in the grocery store and vegetable farm at KidSpark. Tyler enjoyed sitting in the red car there as well.
We had a great time learning about Indigenous science in the visiting exhibition: Indigenous Ingenuity. We especially enjoyed trying to figure out the different animal footprints, learning about how inukshuks are used for navigation, and hunting with the bow and arrow.
The kids also liked walking across the suspension bridge in the rain forest and checking out all of the fun activities in the Science Arcade.
Lowlights:
Due to maintenance we couldn't enter through the front doors. But, kind of a highlight in disguise since the kids enjoyed taking the shuttle service to the rear entrance.
